Registration<\/h2><\/div>

The Conference will be held in person<\/b>, complemented by a selection of online events<\/b> within the programme. All presentations will take place exclusively in person<\/b>, and presenters are therefore required to attend on site (remote presentation is not a foreseen possibility). The only exception applies to panellists participating in Science-Policy-Business sessions, who may present remotely with prior approval from the Programme Committee.<\/p>\n

Registration will be conducted in a two-step process that prioritizes presenters of accepted papers. Each accepted paper may be presented by one person only<\/b>. The first round of registration will be open exclusively to presenting authors, followed by a second round open to all participants. Registration for in-person participation will close once maximum capacity is reached.<\/p>\n

Key Dates<\/h2><\/div>

Registration opens, 16th March 2026<\/b> – Registration for presenting authors<\/b> and panellists <\/b>for Science Policy Business sessions.
\nDeadline, 15th April 2026 <\/b>– the deadline by which presenting authors must be registered for inclusion in the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n

Registrations for ALL <\/b>other participants
\nRegistration opens, 30th March 2026
\n<\/b><\/span>Deadline, 10th June 2026<\/b> – PLEASE NOTE that registrations for in-person participation may close earlier. Registrations will close when the maximum capacity is reached. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are a presenting author<\/b>, please be aware that by registering for the WCERE 2026, you commit to being available throughout the duration of the conference<\/b> and accept that your presentation may be scheduled on any of the four days of the conference that include presentations (29 June \u2013 3 July 2026).<\/p>\n

Plenary sessions, Thematic Sessions and Science-Policy-Business Sessions will be streamed live for free to members of AAERE, AERE, AFAERE, EAERE, and LAERE.<\/b> Selected sessions will be recorded and made available to watch on the WCERE YouTube channel for members of these associations, which will then be released for the general public to view from the beginning of September 2026.<\/p>\n

Registration Fees<\/h2><\/div>

Members of <\/b>the Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics<\/span> (AAERE<\/a>)<\/b>, <\/span>the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE<\/a>)<\/b>, <\/span>the African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AFAERE<\/a>)<\/b>, <\/span>the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE<\/a>)<\/b>, <\/span>and the Latin American Association of Environmental and Resource Economists(LAERE<\/a>) a<\/b><\/span>re eligible for a special conference registration rate. To benefit from this rate, please ensure that your membership with one of these associations<\/b> (AAERE<\/b><\/a>, AERE<\/a><\/b>, AFAERE<\/a><\/b>, EAERE<\/b><\/a> or LAERE<\/a><\/b>) is active or renewed prior to registration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note that the conference registration fee cannot be bundled with the membership fee. Fees are VAT included.<\/p>\n
